Fire & Rescue Vehicle Intercoms
The intercom shown above was developed for communication between the operator at the base and the fireman at the top of a Snorkel fire appliance. In addition to meeting the need for clear communication, Wolf had to ensure the system was 100% waterproof and could be operated simply, by gloved hands, in extreme conditions.
 Fire Service authorities also requested a Driver Training Intercom. They required a rugged, portable system that would allow the instructor to converse with the driver — as well as the crew in the rear seats — whilst the vehicle is in motion with sirens running. Our solution was a system with rechargeable batteries and durable but lightweight headsets.
